Why WordJam? Over the past decade in the language industry, I’ve worn many hats – linguist, project / program manager, quality and people manager. I have been a localization services provider for diverse industries and a buyer for top-tier tech companies. Over time, I identified significant gaps between companies’ global aspirations and their knowledge of how to achieve those. These gaps exist because localization is still a niche industry with numerous complexities of frameworks, processes, and quality. Clients often faced redoing translations or lengthy exchanges with vendors because they were not prepared for those complexities and lacked the much needed localization expertise. Many of them discover ‘localization’ only when urgently needed. I desperately wanted to change that. I wanted to help companies avoid the costly pitfalls when handling localization.

This is how WordJam localization was born. I launched WordJam driven by my passion for languages, technology, excellence and the belief that localization brings immense value to companies.
